How it works

You see your new site before you spend anything.

  1. I look at your current site (or your Google listing).

    Send me a link, or just your business name. I'll see what's working and what isn't.

  2. I build a free preview of your new site.

    A real, working version you can open on your phone. Usually within a week. No cost, no obligation.

  3. You only pay if you love it.

    If you love it, we sign a simple agreement, you pick a plan and make the first payment, and I launch your site. If not, you owe nothing. The preview stays on my account. If you don't go ahead, I take it down.

Easiest to start

Pay Monthly

$500 to start, then $149/month for 12 months

  • Your full custom website (up to 5 pages)
  • Small updates every month (up to 3)
  • Monthly check-up to make sure everything works
  • Replies within 2 business days

The terms

12-month minimum. After 12 months: the site is yours and the price drops to $79/month for the same updates, check-ups and replies. After that, cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.

Leaving before 12 months? You only pay what's left to bring your total to $1,500, and the site is still yours.

Own It Plus

$2,200 one time

  • Everything in Own It
  • 12 months of small updates (up to 3 a month)
  • Lifetime warranty: anything that breaks because of my work, I fix free Covers problems caused by my work, for as long as Vortex Designs is in business. It doesn't cover changes made by you or other companies.

The terms

Payment: half to start, half before the site goes live.

After year one: updates are $50 each, or add the Care Plan anytime.

Add-on for Own It and Own It Plus clients: Care Plan · $79/month

Up to 3 small updates a month, a monthly check-up, and replies within 2 business days. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.

Good to know

  • Small update = changing text, photos, hours or prices, or adding a review (about 30 minutes each). Bigger work, like new pages or a redesign, is quoted first.
  • Your domain (your web address) is about $10–20 a year, paid by you and registered in your name.
  • Just need one page? Ask about simple one-page pricing.

Every agreement is co-signed by my parent, and payments go through a proper invoice.

I'm Jacob, a 15-year-old web designer in New York City. Vortex Designs is a real business: every agreement is co-signed by my parent, and payments go through a proper invoice.

You'll always deal with me directly, and you'll see your new site before you spend a dollar. Before launch, tell me anything that isn't right and I'll fix it.
